Description: black plumage with purple and green gloss and white spots. Bright yellow bill. Juvaniles are all gray with dark bills. Around 8in in length
Found in park: open grassy areas at low elevations such as Elkmont, Oconoluftee, and Cades Cove.
Habitat: most common in farmland, suburbs, and cities. Inhabits most disturbed habitat.
