Twining Ranch Hike March 17, 2013

Great day with CNPS members and others at the Twining Ranch near Talmidge, Mendocino County.

We saw some early wildflowers, amazing views of Ukiah Valley, and got to walk in the middle of a gigantic split rock.

Thanks so much to Eloise who did a great job guiding the walk and telling us the history of the ranch. In particular, it was great to remember Olive, her mother, and her vast knowledge and love for CA native plants and what an incredible land steward she was.
