Dideopsis aegrota
I'm quite intrigued by the biology/ecology of this species, Dideopsis aegrota. It is a hoverfly found in south-east Asia and on Australia's east coast.
Another species, Asarkina pura was synonymised with D. aegrota and I have made a slide on what I could find about this; I found it quite interesting.
