Spotty Conehead Mantid (Empusa binotata)Observer

Poised with legs in a cross, pretending to be a spider. Cryptic colour against the grey wood - with striped 'spider' legs. Then it moved - preying legs and mantis head. Difficult to convince my camera to see it.
