4/13/18 to 4/15/18 - GS Tent Camping, Arnaz

Camp Arnaz campground, Ventura
A three day weekend filled with activities, crafts, nature, and sisterhood. (Arrived Friday evening at 4pm, left early Sunday morning at 7am.)
Steady temperature in the 80s throughout the day, sunny; mid 50s at night/morning.
A variety of birds were present: scrubjays, quail, wrentits, and acorn woodpeckers were just a few. Not to mention the owl that was reminding the campsite of its presence with its low hoots.
Also seen: ground squirrels, fence lizards, and toads aplenty (who also played their music throughout the night with the crickets).
No signs of snakes, ticks, or earwigs. Was warned that ticks were seen recently.
