Q. Do I really need eight (8) notifications that my completely unambigous Peregrine observation is really a Peregrine?
A. No. Somewhat regrettably, I'm going to try turning off notifications of agreeing IDs.

After achieving research grade do more IDs help anything?
I don't think so. ID-hogs build up their stats, though, and that seems important to them.
I was being overwhelmed by notifications--you can't put up a bird, especially a raptor, without confirmation after confirmation, every one of which generates a notification.
