FunDiS West Coast Rare Fungi Challenge

Fungi is that beautiful, easy to photograph kingdom that is getting more attention on iNaturalist. We have over 4,000 observations of fungi for Surrey, of which ~1000 are still in need of ID. That's a lot of possible shrooms in need of curation attention, especially ones that may be rare!

The FunDiS West Coast Rare Fungi Challenge project is a great way to help get our local coastal fungi identified, and contribute to important conservation research and efforts. You can find out more about FunDis here, and consider joining the west coast and North American projects on iNaturalist:
