Finally, the suspected mfezi came out of the drainpipe and into the house which made it easier. Snake advocates in Melmoth helped keep the family calm and watched the snake until I arrived. The drive was more dangerous than catching the snake. No spitting but obviously grumpy. I released in a safer area nearby.

Person requesting ID, his neighbor killed it before he knew what was happening. We have a lot of work to do in Melmoth but are making plans.
