Hormiga larga y de aspecto delgado en vez de tosco con cabeza y abdomen oscuro, se veía negro en la luz durante la noche, lucía torso largo y rojo, portaba par de antenas largas y se ve en la segunda imagen que una de ellas había muerto y la otra trataba de llevásela a no sabemos dónde, su nido obviamente. El contraste entre su torso largo y rojo y su cabeza y abdomen oscuros respectivamente era notable.
