Second tree West of Sentinel Rd, on Jervois. 5 seed balls on this stalk and not many clusters of 1 or 2. Nearly all less than 2.0 cm diameter. Large or small flakes of bark? It looked like 5 leaf lobes on all leaves, possibly a small one near base as in photo. Lobes and sinuses rather narrow. Leaves green - gold.
I suspect a P. orientalis hybridized with London plane. The trees were planted about 3 decades ago by Auckland City Council.
