Description

Not sure of Id, but resembles H. Saxicola in some features - although H. saxicola not in this area and flowers much later.
Appearing either as single pure white flowers or up to three flowering at a time. The latter with outer tepals flushed pink. Bracts green with purple speckles and white membraneous margins. Both variations with distinctive white anthers with purple margins, pollen light, creamy yellow and fibrous tufts at the base arising from the corm.
Growing in damp grassland near cliff edge. The area is part of a seasonal marshland (dried iout in current drought). In a colony amongst H. schelpeana.
