My Daughter found this Painted Boyette while we were on a thanksgiving weekend hike. Yellow underside discoloured to brown when touched. Annulus was faint but still present.

My son found this lovely little specimen while on a thanksgiving weekend walk... Pink fleshy colour, soft rubbery texture, other nearby slime moulds had matured and dried... Mature bodies revealed dark brown powdery spores when opened.

I thought this might be a giant Eastern Crane Fly, but the banding in the abdominal region doesn't seem right... Pattern looks similar to the Western species... Not 100% yet on the ID though...
