Not positive on the ID for this one. Was found on the seafloor hiding in some algae attached to rubble in Lembeh Strait. Size, maybe about 20-30mm.
Observed alone on sea fan. Polyps retracted.
Hiding, very shy on sea fan (polyps out), did not want to blind them with my torch, or move them to get a better photo. One about 15mm, one about 10mm.
Seahorse observed in amongst filamentous algae on seafloor beneath grain terminal. Was very shy of torch-light, swimming away from it.
Multiple seahorse observed, all shy of torch-light and camera, all stationary. Two specimens on ropes, one on the "chicken coup" man-made structure.
