Description

The Red Fox came running from the eastern part of our yard down the hill toward the west and Waterford Rd. I did not see it after that. It looked in good condition. It's coat looked healthy. It happened so fast I was not able to take a photo of the Red Fox. I was inside my house in the family room looking out the large window when I saw the Red Fox in the back yard. The sighting lasted only a few seconds.

Description

As a volunteer steward I was checking the trails for problems. I was also birding at the same time. I walked out on Icke Boardwalk to the shelter at the end. I was looking around for birds when I saw some movement at the base of a large-trunked tree north of the boardwalk. I could only see it furry backside initially. I could see some slight movement but couldn't tell what the animal was doing. It finally turned around and looked at me. I could only then tell that it was a coyote. It stood motionless for about a minute as I took a couple photos. It finally walked away slowly northward. I could see that it had a radio collar and a yellow tag in its ear.
