Ascospores mostly 1-septate, hyaline, ellipsoid with tapered ends, (10) 12 (14) x 3-4 microm. Ascal tips weakly amyloid.

On ground along driveway near garage; 215 W Maplehurst, Ferndale MI. 20 cm or more across. Mature gleba yellowish brown - Methuen 5D5. Capillitia and basidiospores gold colored in 3% KOH. Capillitia thickwalled with pits, sparingly branched with rare septae, 2.5 - 5 microm diam. Basidiospores globose 4 microm diam, smooth, without pedicel.
