Massive specimen in a parking lot. Three trunks measured 14" dbh, 22" dbh and 30" dbh. Overall canopy was measured at 54'.

Old-growth Ashe juniper growing in full sun. From a distance I determined it has about a 22" dbh trunk. Notice how the branches droop to keep out the grasses as a fire deterrent.

Large Ashe juniper in Skyview Cemetery in Kyle, Texas. The canopy is about 45" wide. The trunk is about 36" wide.
