At 11:34 pm was walking my dog when she suddenly stiffened. I saw what I think was a Coyote about 120 feet away. We have seen coyotes in the same spot several times before. The animal looked at us, watching intently. It then turned and went the other way and then into some brush.

Single Coyote seen walking down the middle of the street Tucson Trail, southward, in southwest Madison. I was walking my leashed small dog on sidewalk heading north along the east side of Tucson Trail. When the coyote saw us (approx 6 yards away), it raised its head alert, then turned off the street and went west into greenspace. It did not change speed in doing so, but watched us pass. It did not reemerge so far as I saw, but I did not remain long either. I have previously seen and reported a pair of coyotes in the same spot. My dog did not bark at the coyote (I am not sure she noticed it as she was busy sniffing).

Was walking the dog just after midnight. We went past a path leading into a stand of trees and after we passed it the dog went on high alert. I turned around and saw two coyotes come off the path onto the sidewalk. They turned away from us and headed into the back yard of 7401 Lindemann Trl. The dog barked twice at them at that point but they pretty much ignored her and continued at a walking pace until they vanished in the darkness.
