Description

I noticed these house finches building a nest in the stoplight on NE corner as I was crossing the street.

I wonder: why nest yellow and not red and green light?

  • Maybe location -the middle seems protective.
  • Or do they like yellow?

Are there many photos of birds nesting in signal lights and do they have their own page. I should look into it...
