What
Olive Warbler (Peucedramus taeniatus)Observer
gentoopenguin21Description
Please note that two sections of the recording were muted to remove my voice and some bad wind noise. I chose to mute so the length of time between calls would not be disrupted.
Merlin tagged this as an Olive Warbler, however I disagree, but I don't have a ID for it either. Birds seen that I think could be possible include: Spotted Towhee, Bridled Titmouse, Black-throated Gray Warbler, Bushtit, Canyon Wren, Mexican Jay.
What
Yellow-eyed Junco (Junco phaeonotus)Observer
gentoopenguin21Description
Merlin said the following:
Hutton's Vireo
House Wren
Yellow-eyed Junco
Olive Warbler
I'm well aware of Merlin's failing and know none of these species may be accurate. I'm better at birding eastern birds by ear, so looking for some assistance with the bird in the background.
I don't hear the warbler. Is this possibly the junco?

Not the woodpecker, but the constant klack-klack-klack sound in the background.

The rattling sound, not the cardinal.
