On the other part of a walking trail besides the pond are at least a dozen of young saplings. The leaves are red, possibly due to the season. The sapling seems to be healthy with the exception of one whose leaves on the lower part of the plant has holes. Possible insect presence.

Groups of small trees along the pond behind the Gorham Police Station. The sun is out with clear skies. The pond water is calm, leaves are being blown around by a gentle breeze. Sounds of leaf blower is heard in the distance as some bird calls.
