This American Bullfrog tadpole was found in a small stream in Cuyahoga Falls. I estimate it to be about an inch long. It was identifiable because of the tadpole’s head shape and the fact that this species of frog is commonly found around this area.

This Eastern Chipmunk was found in a wooded area near Eaton Estates on April 12, 2018. I estimate it to be about 5 inches long. It has a brown body with white and black markings. It’s tail is very small and it moves quickly. It’s habitat included a stream bank and trees.

This Eastern Carpenter Bee landed on my hand in Eaton Estates. I estimate it to be about a half inch long. It has extremely large eyes and a black body. It’s wings are a brown color and it’s legs are very thick.

This Spotted Ladybeetle was found near a baseball field in Cuyahoga Falls on April 30, 2018. I estimate it to be a centimeter long. It has twelve spots and a orange-red coloration. It has a small thorax and a very small head.

This Black-Capped Chickadee was found near a stream in a wooded area in Eaton Estates. I estimate it to be about 5 inches long. It’s chirps and coloration made it easily identifiable. It’s habitat included a stream, brush, and logs.

These Cut-Leaved Toothwort flowers were found just off a trail in Eaton Estates. They were less than an inch in length and about six inches in height (including plant). The unique shape of the leaves made the easily identifiable.

This Eastern Cottontail rabbit was found on a trail in Eaton Estates. I estimate it to be about a foot and a half long. It has large ears rimmed with a darker fur. It’s habitat included a wooded area, logs, and dead leaves.

This young Longnose Dace was found in a shallow stream in the woods near Eaton Estates. I estimate it to be about 3.5 inches long. The bright red-orange stripe and spots made it identifiable. It’s habitat included mossy rocks, a gentle current in the stream, and algae.

This Colt’s Foot wildflower was found at the base of a tree near a pond on April 14, 2018. It was approximately three inches tall with a darker golden center surrounded lighter yellow petals. It’s stem was slim and had no extra leaves. There were no other flowers around it.

This female White-tailed Deer was found in Eaton Estates on April 3, 2018 near a garden. She was about 3 feet tall and 5 feet long. She has small, black hooves and a short tail. Her legs are slender and she is a brown coloration.

This Common Earthworm was found on a sidewalk in Eaton Estates on April 15, 2018. It was about 4 inches long. It has a purple-pink coloration and a small clitellum. It is very thin and has many segments.

This Downy Woodpecker was found in the woods in Eaton Estates on April 12, 2018. It is approximately half a foot long with a distinct red head. It was found in a woodland area and was very small with quick movements.

These Wild Turkeys were found on April 16, 2018 near Seasons Road. They seemed about 3-4 feet long. They have long legs and long tail feathers. Their feet had long toes and were clawed. They were found in an open field just off the road.

These Cracked Cap Polypore fungi were found on April 12, 2018 on a rotting tree trunk. They were found just off a trail in Eaton Estates. They were about two feet in length and about a foot in width. The tops of them were covered in a moss as they were found near a stream bank.
