Description

A fer-de-lance (Bothrops asper) eating their host bat (most likely Trachops cirrhosus) is causing some major trepidation for these parasitic Streblid flies.

First photo is of a captured wild bat in a flight cage, with túngara frog treat (Engystomops pustulosus), latter two photos are in-situ wild bats.
