This plant had leaf compounds of 5-9 leaflets growing in an opposite pattern. Many of the leaflets were lobed, but not all of them. Some were more deeply lobed than others. White berries were beginning to grow on the ends of leaflets and they grew in clusters. The leaflets are small, delicate and soft to the touch.
What
Common Snowberry (Symphoricarpos albus)Observer
jackiebri24Description
This plant has small delicate soft leaves, They grow in an opposite pattern from a light brown branch. I think this was a young plant, there were only about 6 or less leaflets per compound. They are somewhat oval shaped. I suspected it to be red huckleberry but the stem wasn't bright green as red huckleberry is usually. It doesn't quite look like snowberry because it isn't lobed and oval leaved blueberry has an alternate pattern so I think that is ruled out as well.
I believe the Order to be: Ericales
