Primavera porrecta evidence? Empty pouch gall on samaras of Ulmus americana. The larvae fell out March 4 (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/201397041) and today the samaras are falling, but they aren’t mature and there are no seeds. Not the typical samaras that fall after a squirrel has nipped the seed from the middle.
