Back with the large feather pattern more typical of a female, but with coloration more similar to a male, particularly where the back meets the flanks.

Head with the glossy green of a male, but only on part of the head. Cheeks look more like a
female.

Tail with the curled black feathers that are typical of a male

Front of body with the chestnut brown shield of a male. Flanks mostly the gray of a male, but
with some of the brown speckled pattern of a female
