On bramble(Rubus) under a rotting garden chair. It was colonising the chair also but not sure what type of wood that is. Some slime mould sporangia can also be seen in the 3rd pic. They look like they are being overwhelmed.

Cytidia salincina. Scarlet Splash Fungus growing on Salix caprea, Goat Willow. The tree looked in good shape but this branch was a dead one. The tree is right on the banks of a reservoir. This path is often inaccessible due to waterlogging.
