Eared Seals (Family Otariidae)Observer
luskwaterDescription
Gathering from across the country for a family wedding, our family took advantage of the days before the wedding to have fun together. One day, we rented kayaks from Southwind Kayak Center and paddled up Newport Bay, and then down into the harbor. The paddling safety rules had mentioned "do not approach whales, dolphins, or seals: they may approach you." We didn't exactly find seals, but we found a sea lion.
