Date

Description

was in a shallow pool on top of bed rock, but was the deepest pool of many on the upper river bed rock. It also had some dirt and decaying leafs settled on the bottom. There were 12 of them in this pool, and currently the river water i dont believe can be above 40 degrees F. The pool was about 2 feet deep. They were a solid orange tint, yet lighter orange color.
I do not know what they are or if they are common. This was off of the #715 trail from fish creek trail head, on the clackamas river, Oregon.
