What

Stream Violet (Viola glabella)

Date

June 20, 2023 07:00 PM AKDT

Description

It definitely looks very similar to the Stream Violet that grows in the valley bottom in this area. But there are two inflorescences on each plant. And I see that the iNat linked Wikipedia article says V. biflora is also known as "alpine yellow violet", and since thses specimens were growing in the alpine, I'm suggesting Viola biflora.
