Left side - small female. Center - large female. Right side - male/female pair. Male is smaller/thinner and has a flat nose.
I've been checking this pond edge regularly. This is the first day they appeared.

Meadow Jumping Mouse (Zapus hudsonius)Observer

Not certain but the tracks seem too far apart for deer mice. Adjacent to a woodland stream in a 1/2 acre forest opening filled with goldenrod and various grasses. Weather has been warm in the 30˚F - 45˚F range for the past month.
