The first squirrel appeared at 8:34pm on 7/16/16. There were 2 by 9:15p, and 4 by 12:15am, The last photo was at 5:27am, 7/17/16. From the last light of day to just past the first light of next day. Birds and Squirrels seem to meet only in passing, but not at the feeder, that I have ever observed.
Overall 146 photos were taken over this +-9hr period.
There were squirrels during every hour, except between 11p-12a.
Unknown whether certain ones prefer seed to suet, or whether the time of day made a difference in choice of food, but didn't see much activity on suet until approx 3:45a-4:00a. No real way to tell if this one on the suet was here earlier in night eating seed, or if he's just joining the party.
I could hear them coming and going, especially when they land on the roof of the feeder (with a loud CLANG!)

Although difficult to really see in photo, there are approx 3 Flying Squirrels on our bird feeder (one up front, two on right side). There were a total of 4 on the feeder at once this night. One of them was a much darker brown than the others.

Approx 9:30 pm, stuffing his cheeks at our bird feeder at corner of deck, and making a mess!
Fairly decent size and tawny brown.
