Oriental Desert-Parsley (Lomatium orientale)Observer
propullansDescription
Lomatium orientale in full bloom at Morton Outcrops Scientific and Natural Area in Renville County on March 2. The earliest that I’ve ever seen it in bloom there before was March 15, and even that is unusually early. The fact that these are largely fully open right now means that they probably started blooming in February. Zoom in on the habitat shot to see the plants.
