What
Tribe EpeoliniObserver
rexrowanDescription
Two or three dozen of these were continuously flying back and forth just an inch or two above the loose sand of a service road. On a few occasions we saw individuals land and bury themselves - not by digging burrows, throwing sand out behind them, but by landing on the sand and "swimming" in, gradually disappearing over a few seconds, with the sand filling in behind them, leaving no trace of their presence.
