Observations by roadrunner2

There was an emaciated coyote with tracking collar and ear tags under the trees in an open space by our condo. It looks to be infected with mange - had no discernible fur left; the tail was completely hairless. We almost thought it was a different animal at first because of the lack of fur.
It stayed in the area for about 30-45 minutes, then left, traveling south. We were worried because it looked ill and spent a lot of time scratching at ears, face, etc.
