this is a blue spotted arab which is a common butterfly found in al wathba and can be seen all year round. the wings are absolutely 20 cms and the colors of the wings have blue, light pink and black.

this is a sedge and it can be found in sandy areas, its the only sedge found in al wathba reserve there arent many. the steams grow about 50 cm high. they’re found in front of the flamingos hide.

Description

This was found in al wathba, it’s usually found in places with sand. It is known as the red thumb, it is red and i noticed that they are always grouped together and not really far away from each other. This is about 10 cm.

Description

This looks like a huge bush that spreads out. The color of the bush is green, it also looks like it has yellow flowers maybe. The root bark of the tree is has the same color of the sand, and the inner surfaces are an even lighter shade of brown. This bush could be about 200 cm.

Description

I usually find this type of deep rooted tree around the United Arab Emirates. It looks like it could be around 800 cm tall, it has small green leaves however there are some tiny flowers in the trees. I also saw that it has small yellow fruits.

Description

I found this weird looking flower at al wathba and it looks like it’s about 12 centimeters tall. The colors of the flower is yellow, pink and purple. Flowers were found on all sides of the stalk.
