Description

Around 8am walking on road along north side of Pungo Lake we say a mother and her 2 cubs cross the road headed up through corn fields.

Around 9am
N. Pungo Lake a young bear greeted us as we quietly stood among grasses listening to Tundra Swans. Bear came close, saw our large group and ran east along the northern shore of the lake.

Around 9:30 am walking back out from lake we saw same mother and 2 cubs up along road. We quietly waited for bears in grasses and bears came rather close before cub spotted us. All three ran off.
