What
Calocybe onychinaObserver
suziesporeDescription
I know it’s old but I’m positive on ID because I’ve seen it previous season. This season this is the only one I see in the patch and as you can tell it’s very old.

What
Cups (Genus Peziza)Observer
suziesporeDescription
Thought “common brown cup” or Peziza so I must keep on refining my knowledge
After seeing inat suggestions (I know a horrible base for ID’s) but I’m really thinking Otidea sp. now

What
Shellfish-scented Russula (Russula xerampelina)Observer
suziesporeDescription
Shot in the dark... too old for me to tell. I know it’s a Russula sp. but I’ve never seen one with a purple kind of tint... could be with age? I was originally thinking maybe Russula purpurea or vinosa but I’m not sure of where or how these grow... are Russula saprobic? Was found solo in the middle of a manzanita patch

What
Goldleaf Shield (Pluteus romellii)Observer
suziesporeDescription
I know this but I’m blanking on what it is... will come back to it.... I’ve seen it last season... not very wet or slimy/waxy but I think it’s Hygrocybe which now has a new classification I believe ? Growing out of same deciduous oak ? as last season

What
Fungi Including Lichens (Kingdom Fungi)Observer
suziesporeDescription
I figure the cap shape is because of the age of the mushroom, found alone but near other fungi like Tubaria furfuracea in a mixed conifer oak manzanita forest
