I was driving from my friend's house on the South side of Lake Monona to the Capital Springs dog park and there was a coyote running down the middle of Nana Lane. The coyote was very thin with scraggly fur and appeared to have a tracking collar on. Once it heard my vehicle behind it the animal looked back and then darted into the woods on an adjacent property

I was walking my dog and a red fox ran across the road and was on the bike path moving North. When it saw me it reluctantly ran back across the road to the South. It hesitated because there was a car that was about 125 yards away from the intersection which was approaching. I couldn't see where it went once it crossed the road.

At 3:29 am I saw a red fox in the middle of the road on South Fair Oaks Ave. just South of the intersection with South Bryan Street. A car was approaching from the South towards the intersection on Fair Oaks Ave. The fox proceeded to enter the wooded area to the South of the Starkweather Creek on the East side of Fair Oaks Ave. After the vehicle passed the fox returned to the middle of the road but by this time my dog and I had closed the distance and it saw us approaching. The fox proceeded to run into wooded area/gravel road to the South of Starkweather Creek on the West side of Fair Oaks Ave.

At about 325am, I saw a fox cross from near S Bryan St across S Fair Oaks Ave while walking my dog before work. The fox was between us and the next street light so all I saw was a good shadow of the animal as it moved East across the street into the vegetation that borders Starkweather Creek.

I saw a Coyote in the road on University Ave. as I was driving West and approaching N. Whitney Way. As I approached it crossed from the West bound shoulder across the split lanes to the East bound shoulder area. Due to the street lights in the area and the tail hanging down I was able to confirm it as a Coyote. I observed this animal at about 3:56am on 10/09/2016. I didn't observe any tags or collars on the animal but it was dark out and I was more trying to determine if it was a grey fox or a coyote after seeing it move and that it was not a raccoon.

Saw a red fox around intersection of Fair Oaks Ave and James St at approximately 230am on 5/29/16. Dog smelled animal, I saw it duck behind a vehicle and thought it was a raccoon. As we walked to other side of vehicle along sidewalk the fox ran into street where I was able to identify it.
