Description

Email from Dennis Lingnau: "Sir or Ma'am. I live in Wilbarger county. Vernon tx. I live 12 miles west of Vernon. 11/21/16 I was watching Sandhill heading south I seen a white one. This is a little blury because I zoomed it up and took the photo with my cell phone. It was a lone whopping crane with the Sandhills. It was about 10;30 in the morning. Hope this helps out."

Description

Email report from Craig: "they were West of Garwood just south of fm 1693 right where 1693 curves to the north. In a plowed field south of the curve. I saw two adults and a juvenile. Pretty neat. I've seen several in Garwood and south of El Campo the last several years. Hopefully they don't conflict with the hunters around there. Folks need to learn to ID them to avoid issues. It was with my iPhone and they were 150+ yards away. I see them all the time along the intercostal waterway at Aransas NWR. Cool, big birds!!"
