Description

Small juvenile parrotfish, appears to be a hybrid of redband and stoplight parrotfish. Note prominent light stripes and face as of the redband, with dark red background, white spots and white tail band as of the stoplight. (Apologies for blurry screenshots.)
I can't find any evidence of a hybrid parrotfish like this, nor of a juvenile stoplight parrotfish that happens to have light stripes. A true hybrid, or am I mistaken?

Description

Very small, probably juvenile. Closest visual match is Slippery Dick wrasse, due to coloration and single black dot on dorsal fin. However, its range doesn't extend as far north as Cape Cod, and the shapes of the dorsal and anal fins are not wrasse-like. Pictures and video include multiple individuals (at least three seen). Apologies for picture quality.

Description

These two (groupers of some sort?) were swimming together. When seen next to an adult Graysby grouper, they were less than half the size. They tended to swim together. One experienced a slight change of patterning. Maybe juveniles of a grouper species?
