Description

Female collected on 10 May 2008 and oviposited on Descurainia pinnata. Larva fed to pupa which eclosed on 10 Feb 2010. Note: Some adults from the Hansel Mountains (UT) and North Hansel Mountains (ID) are atypical for A. thoosa thoosa whereas other adults are typical. This reared female is atypical. Whether or not a new subspecies should be described requires further investigation.

Sight record only. Tony Jones and I saw a puddling male near Pine Valley Campground; but, were unable to voucher or photograph. This male was fresh where the white fringe was obvious; but, I was not able to photograph nor collect.
