Observations by troopoort

Looks a lot like a red sea anemone, but I've only seen aggregating, giant green and solitary anemones here before. Although, now that I think about it, I did see some aggregating ones open that I thought were a reddish color variant, but not a different species. This didn't have all the debris attached to it like the aggregating ones do, but it was attached to to the rock, no other anemones were near and it was in a deeper tidal zone. Never seen these here before. Probably has to be open for an ID.
