I am currently the Aquarium Supervisor for the Dallas Aquarium at Fair Park and oversee the living animal collection housed there. We participate in a number of conservation projects though my main interest is in freshwater mussel (unionid) conservation in light of the recent zebra mussel invasion. Our partners in mussel conservation include Texas Tech University and we are focused on the propagation of native Texas unionid species. I created this account to upload some photos of Texas unionids to help the volunteers with Texas Mussel Watch identify some of their specimens.
