I grew up in the woods of W. Pennsylvania and have been a naturalist ever since, living and working in Washington state, North Carolina, Maryland, and Ohio. Currently, back in W. PA. Native medicinal plants are my passion, as are protecting and preserving forest ecosystems from the impacts of invasive species. I have a B.S. in Horticulture from Penn State and a M.S. in Natural Resource Management from Slippery Rock University.
