I am an ecologist interested in learning more about all wildlife. I worked on pollinator conservation and studied bees important for crop pollination at Virginia Tech (Blacksburg, Virginia), then worked for many years with the Xerces Society as a partner biologist with the US Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service in North Carolina.

I have switched all my observations to "all rights reserved," which let me see them more easily on my a work system (that didn't allow images from the community commons system, but I am happy to share for non-commercial use.

I'd love to know if you use photos I've posted. Many are just phone photos, but I'm starting to post some better quality images.
