Living in Japan, next to Mt Fuji.
Lots of wildlife in my garden in the countryside, so the location will be exactly the same for most of my posts.
It's going to take years to list everything I've photographed but if you'd like to visit my Facebook page you can see quite a few of species I've been able to snap.

However this album has started to get out of control, so the most recent pictures are divided into different folders: mostly frogs, and wasps.

1. [Revised location information]
   I am now living above the pass between Mt Fuji and the mountain to the south of it at 1000m above sea level. The ground is composed of lava boulders with a thin layer of humus from the mixed forest that covers all the ground not covered by holiday homes and their access roads. Drainage ponds provide habitat for Rhacophorus arboreus, Bufo japonicus, and other frogs. The endless crevices between the rocks provide excellent concealment for several kinds of snake, mammal and bird. There are very few wild flowers but plenty of fungi.
