I am individual contract biologist concentrating on bird conservation. Most of my previous work has focused on the Cerulean Warbler both in the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee and during spring migration in Central America. I serve on the BOD and as Co-chair of the Conservation Policy Committee for the Tennessee Ornithological Society. I also serve as a BOD member for the Tennessee Land Conservancy and as the Chair of the Conservation Committee.
