Texas Tech University PhD Alum, interested in restoration ecology, invasive plant species (mainly tropical grasses e.g. Buffelgrass, or Nassella grasses and Lehmann's lovegrass) and novel ecosystems in semiarid lands in Texas and Puerto Rico. Currently working and living in Puerto Rico.
I got my bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez Campus. My master's thesis topic was in the effects of native and non-native grass on the native woody species community in the Guánica Tropical Dry Forest in southwestern Puerto Rico.
