Balazs Buzas

Balázs Buzás was born in Budapest, in the capital city of Hungary in 1974. He began his carrier as a big cat keeper at the Budapest Zoo at the age of 14, then (in 1996) he joined the expeditions of the Hungarian Natural History Museum and worked for the Mammals Collection for 4 years.
Since 2002 he has been an adventure tour leader for Baraka Travel Company and he guides Hungarian tourists around the Globe. He also worked with various carnivore species in ex-situ in the Rare Species Conservation Centre in Kent, United Kingdom. Then moved to the United Arab Emirates and worked in the Breeding Centre for the Endangered Arabian Wildlife (Sharjah), was a zoo manager in the Al Mayya Sanctuary (Fujairah) and established a scientific collection and started field research programs for the Fujairah Research Center.
He started to research and photograph animals in their natural habitat during his first expeditions with the Natural History Museum, and thanks to the character of his jobs since then, up to now he has been to 110 countries on 5 continents.
Working as a wildlife consultant at the moment.
