I like to travel some. For example, as of April 2016, I'm half way through a two year stint in Tanzania. I'm originally from the United States. I'm not any kind of expert on any of this stuff, just when I travel, I tend to notice a lot of new organisms and want to take pictures of them. I'm also kind of afraid of "creepy crawlies" so taking pictures of them, posting about them, and learning about them helps me rationalize my way out of being afraid of them (or at least only being afraid of the ones that could hurt me). I'd love to become better at identifying things, so if you have any pointers for improving (such as a website that helps guide you through IDs or the fact that a certain feature is unique to some family/genus/whatever) please share!
